Azerbaijan continues its cooperation with the International Association of Prosecutors in combat against all areas of crime, said Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev at a joint press conference on the results of the first meeting of the Council of Prosecutors General of the member countries of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States (Turkic Council) on November 1.
Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev highlighted that Azerbaijani will provide security in the region more effectively.
"Regional cooperation is indicated in the Statute of the Council of Prosecutors General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States. This mainly considers the assistance in specific criminal cases, filing legal petitions, and more intensive implementation of extradition issues. Secondly, it focuses on the share of the knowledge and skills among prosecutors and learning more about the legal system of their countries and if it is useful to apply these practices", he added.
